Overview

Orbit integrates with external services to automate ranking workflows and surface analytics in your workspace.

Only enable the services you actively use. Disabling a provider stops further syncs but keeps historical data intact.

Setup workflow

  1. 1Open Settings → External services from the sidebar.
  2. 2Choose the integration card that matches your provider.
  3. 3Follow the provider-specific instructions below.
  4. 4Click Save to persist credentials.

Ranking automation

Once connected, ranking actions appear in the UserBook so staff can promote, demote, or term users directly from Orbit.

Ranking actions trigger the external service API. Ensure your provider account has the correct permissions before enabling.

BloxyServices

Configure BloxyServices to drive rank updates from Orbit.

  1. Paste your BloxyServices API key into the designated field.
  2. Confirm the workspace ID matches the Orbit workspace you’re configuring.
  3. Save and run a test promotion to confirm the webhook is firing.

RankGun

RankGun drives advanced rank automation. Link your workspace with these steps:

  1. Enter the RankGun API key provided in your RankGun dashboard.
  2. Provide the RankGun Workspace URL (e.g., https://app.rankgun.works/workspace/VDzWOQ1BqHnOeaa).
  3. Save the configuration and verify the status indicator turns green.
RankGun enforces request limits—consult theirAPI referenceif you plan burst operations.

Verification

Before rolling out widely:

  • Promotions, demotions, and terminations are logged in the Activity → Audit trail once synced.
  • Test with a sandbox rank before rolling out to a live workspace.
